HARD CERAMIC
Hard ceramic is manufactured from high-grade clays, kaolins, feldspars and pure quartz sand.
These base materials are finely ground, then pressed into moulds and sintered at approx. 1.300°.
This provides hard ceramic with its outstanding technical properties, which are indispensable especially in wastewater management.
Another advantage that should be highlighted is the economical aspect of this cost-efficient material.
AREA OF APPLICATION
- Lining of purification plants with hard ceramic tiles
TECHNICAL PROPERTIES OF HARD CERAMIC
A flexible and extremely economical material for wastewater systems that has distinguished itself numerous times:
- Tested and confirmed by the MFPA Leipzig (Material Research and Testing Institute for the building industry).
- All parameters relevant to the area of water management were reached or even greatly exceeded (test report PB 1.1/15-056-8 issued on 26/01/2016 is available upon request)
- High resistance to acids and alkalis
- Excellent sliding properties (if requested)
- Frost resistant
- Complete corrosion resistance
- Compressive and abrasive resistance
- Long service life
