THE COMPOSITE TILES FOR APPLICATIONS
WITH HEAVY IMPACT WEAR

SC-FlexTiles are composite tiles that contain a wear protection material vulcanised into rubber. This combination of materials can be installed by gluing to metal sheets, but also by gluing or bolting them directly on a corresponding base substrate. The corresponding material thicknesses depend on the specific requirement and can be specified by the user.

Through the use of rubber, these composite tiles are especially suitable for use in applications subject to heavy impact wear. The majority of the kinetic energy is absorbed by the layer of rubber to protect the hard, wear-resistant material layer, which simultaneously counteracts heavy abrasive wear. This is the case with bunkers and chutes and in steel mills, for example, but is generally encountered when reloading/transporting coarse bulk materials.
